Agency, Venture Stream
I’m a driven full-stack developer with 13 years of experience playing key roles across the plan, design, build and long-term maintenance of web applications — the whole lifecycle, not just the parts that are fun to demo.
These days I’m at Venture Stream, a digital agency where I work across WordPress, Shopify and custom builds for clients ranging from local tradespeople to national brands. Before that, most of my time went into hands-on freelance and agency work: WordPress sites for small businesses, a Laravel booking platform with WhatsApp and Google API integrations, and more than a few late nights chasing down CSS bugs that turned out to be one missing semicolon.
I’m adaptable and genuinely curious about the industry — I like picking up new trends and tools and putting them to work rather than just reading about them. Recently that’s meant getting properly into Tailwind CSS v4’s CSS-first config, Alpine.js for the small bits of interactivity that don’t need a framework, and rebuilding this very site with Timber and Twig.
Outside of client work I keep a handful of side projects going on GitHub — some finished, some perpetually “nearly done” — and write about the more interesting bits of both on the blog.
